Printing

Most of our packaging products are printed using the flexographic process. The ink is coated onto a raised polymer printing plate that is then rolled against the packaging surface to produce the printed image. Unlike the more familiar litho process (used for printed leaflets and stationery) the detail to be printed must contain only line art without any graduated tints or screens.

Tissue, paper rolls and film rolls are limited to three spot colours, overprinted paper carrier bags are available printed two spot colours or full colour CMYK.

Printed luxury bags and boxes has non of the above limitations and can be printed in a variety of finishes including 4 spot colours, CMYK, metallic foil, gloss UV and embossing.
